Hi, I’m Felix, in my late twenties, and I’ve been working as a licensed B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer on various aircraft types for several years.

Over the years, I’ve developed a real passion for aviation tooling and have built extensive knowledge in creating practical, efficient, and high-quality toolkits for aircraft maintenance.

My professional background

I graduated from a german Aircraft Maintenance Engineer schools as a scholarship recipient before earning my EASA Part-66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer licence. I currently hold Boeing 747-400 and Boeing 767 type ratings, with my Boeing 777 type rating coming soon. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in both Line Maintenance and Base Maintenance, performing numerous A-Checks, C-Checks and heavy maintenance tasks. I have also gained experience across different specialist areas, including Avionics, Sheet Metal and Composite Repair, giving me a broad understanding of aircraft maintenance and the tooling required to support it efficiently.

About my experience

Throughout my career in aircraft maintenance, I’ve seen how much productivity is lost because of outdated, incomplete or poorly organized tooling. Mechanics often spend valuable time searching for tools, working with worn equipment or improvising due to missing items. These issues not only reduce efficiency but can also affect workflow, quality and overall maintenance costs.

Well-equipped mechanics make a significant difference. The right tools increase productivity, improve the quality of work and help maintenance teams complete tasks faster and more efficiently. I apply the knowledge I’ve gained on the hangar floor to every toolkit, every custom solution and every recommendation I make.
